Cynthia Manietta – Ceramic Art in Harmony with Nature

Since 2024, ceramic artist Cynthia Manietta has lived and worked in Hamburg, having previously lived primarily in Australia. Her artistic career began in the 1990s with a degree in fine arts and an intensive focus on ceramics. With her in-depth training and many years of experience, she has developed a unique artistic style that creates a fascinating dialogue between nature and humanity.

From Australia to Hamburg – An Artistic Path
Cynthia completed her training at Lismore TAFE and Southern Cross University, where she specialized in art and ceramics. In Australia, she ran her own successful ceramics studios and shared her knowledge in workshops. Her work was exhibited in local shops, while she also produced ceramic products for markets.

Sustainability as a core theme of her art
In her ceramics, Cynthia explores the impact of humans on nature. She works with casts of plastic packaging and transforms them into durable, artistic vessels. Her works invite viewers to question their own consumer behavior and develop a deeper appreciation for sustainable materials.

A statement for conscious change
With her art, Cynthia aims to inspire people to use resources more consciously and reflect on the fragile relationship between humanity and the environment. Her works combine aesthetics with a clear message: art can be a powerful stimulus for sustainable change.

Her unique ceramic objects are not only works of art, but also everyday companions – created to help us perceive our environment more mindfully and responsibly.
